Our Junior Golf Programme Puts the Future of the Game in Great Hands!

With the lack of a proper training facility here at Lowville we encourage you to join into the lesson programs that are held at our Sister Course Hidden Lake.

All of the professionals at Hidden Lake Golf Club take great pride in our Junior programme. We think of Junior golfers as the seeds that – with the right nurturing – will help us to grow this grand and stately game.

We've developed exciting new programmes for children to enjoy learning the basics needed to enjoy a day on the links and to help them develop as young athletes and good citizens. The golf course is the place for golf lessons as well as life lessons, like honesty, respect, integrity, sportsmanship and etiquette.

We offer lessons, clinics and camps for all ages and skill levels, beginning in April and running through the first week of September.

Junior introduction to Golf
Ages 6-12. Little or no experience is required, clubs can be provided if necessary. Four 1-hour sessions. Certificate of Achievement and a group photo.

Intermediate Golfer
All golfers must have previous experience. Clubs can be provided if necessary. Four 1-hour sessions. All basic skills plus alignment, pitching and sand play. Certificate of Achievement and a group photo.

Monday Night Junior Clinics (New!)
Four 1-hour sessions. Basic golf skills - grip, stance, posture, putting, chipping and full swing are taught. Certificate of Achievement and a group photo.

• August 9th, August 16th, August 23rd, August 30th

Times:

• Age 9 and under: 6:00pm
• Age 10 and over: 7:00pm

Junior Elite Coaching/Mentoring Programme (New!)  -- Ages 12 to 16 (no exceptions)

A specifically designed program for Juniors age 12 and Up who wish to advance their skill level and play competitive golf through a combination of private one-on-one lessons and on-course instruction. We offer tournament-ready coaching with the assistance of course management instruction. Experience required. Clubs can be provided if necessary.

• Package 
series of four private 30 minute lessons and one on-course lesson $300 plus applicable taxes
• Series of six private 30 minutes lessons and two on course lesson $550 plus applicable taxes
  
  

Junior Golf Camps, ages nine and up.

Five-day camps are intensive. Students must possess a keen interest level. Camps run Monday to Friday 8:00am - 3:00pm. Lunch is provided. Some experience is required for participation in any camp. Focus on full swing, chipping, pitching, putting, sand play and course management. Junior Golf Campers will receive a bag tag, certificate of achievement, group photo and more. Campers will enjoy playing nine holes and golf instruction, while learning basic rules of the same and proper golf etiquette.

Please Note for Camps: The Monday sessions is held on the driving range and classroom. This session will consist of orientation, rules, etiquette and instruction. The Tuesday - Friday sessions will consist of driving range instruction and on course play.
